Que en el día de hoy se cumple el Centenario de la Instalación del Primer Gobierno Municipal, cuyo hecho se originó en la ley Nº 35 del año 1854 como una consecuencia de los principios que regularon la Organización Nacional y

Considerando:

Que el municipio es base permanente de la Nación y única forma de gobierno adaptada a la idea de la libertad y de la tradición republicana, toda vez que promueve y consulta los intereses morales y materiales de los ciudadanos con absoluta prescindencia de los intereses políticos y que es propio de las autoridades hacer revivir estos fastos en la memoria colectiva, en uso de las facultades inherentes a su alta investidura, el Comisionado Municipal de Exaltación de la Cruz,
